Mega Rex SVN Transforms Ford F-250 into 9-Seater Off-Roader

North Carolina-based MegaRexx Trucks is back with another super-duty Ford off-roader.

The MegaRexx SVN is a modified Ford F-250 Super Duty built to haul lots of people instead of luggage MegaRexx took advantage of the heavy-duty pickup truck's large footprint to create a four-row configuration that seats nine passengers The first row The first, second, and third rows are bucket seats, and the fourth row is a three-person bench seat. All seats are upholstered in leather.

Unlike the MegaRexx's previous MegaRaptor7 SUV, the added row of seats is completely enclosed by aluminum bodywork that extends from the stock cab and includes a one-piece rear window. The Mega Rex also includes the newly added rear row climate controls. The exterior is mostly stock, but the rear window has a dark tint, Morimoto XB LED headlights and fog lights, and power side steps to assist in getting in and out of the car. Also included are 3D printed C-pillar emblems, laser-etched grille emblems, laser-etched and CNC-machined tailgate panels, and Rhino-Rack crossbars attached to the standard roof rack.

The SVN is powered by a stock Super Duty 6.7-liter turbo diesel V-8 engine. Rated at 475 hp and 1,050 lb-ft of torque, it is sent to all four wheels via a factory 10-speed automatic transmission. To handle such a vehicle and improve its off-road capabilities, Megalex swapped in a Carli 2.5-inch Commuter Suspension and Leveling System, which, as the name implies, provides 2.5 inches of lift. 285/75R18 Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac tires were installed.

MegaRexx claims to have used an F-250 Lariat with Ultimate Package as the base for the SVN, retaining most of the truck's many technology and convenience features. The list includes a 12.0-inch touchscreen and Sync 4 infotainment system, a 1,000-watt B&O audio system, wireless smartphone charging, power trailer tow mirrors, ambient lighting, as well as blind spot driver aids such as blind-spot monitors and rear parking sensors.

All of this is priced at $170,000, which includes the cost of the donor vehicle. Note that MegaRexx previously charged $224,950 for the MegaBronc, a three-row Super Duty Bronco that is also based on the F-250 Lariat diesel but features Bronco-like styling. MegaLex also named its F-250 the MegaRaptor, to resemble the Raptor.
