Ford is reissuing the classic Mustang window stickers.

If you're looking to restore your classic Mustang and make it look as good as new, polished to a shine at the dealership, Ford is now selling reprints of early window stickers.

These reprints are completely original, down to the size of the sticker, colors and fonts used, and are currently only available for the 1987-1989 model year Mustang.

They are available on the Ford Show Parts website and cost $59.95. Simply provide your VIN number when ordering and you will receive the perfect window sticker for your car.

Window stickers allow you to get important information about your car at a glance, which is useful if you are in the business of selling cars and also interesting if you are a collector. Ford has provided reprints of all cars from more than a decade ago, but until now you had to use third-party companies to get older reprints. While the information is accurate, these third-party reprints do not match the original designs used by Ford. For collectors, authenticity often means everything.

Classic reissues are limited to third-generation Mustangs, or Fox bodies, but Autoblog reported Friday that Ford plans to expand this program.
